The co-operative has staff at two locations.

These locations are the co-operative’s Office and at Broadview House.At the co-operative’s Office there are four staff, two full-time, the other two part-time.

Housing Manager (Julia)

Our Housing Manager works full-time for the co-operative. Julia has been with the co-operative since 1985. Julia is responsible for the overall smooth running of the co-operative. This includes such things as new build projects, overseeing minor and major maintenance, tenant selection interviews, co-ordinating meetings of the administration, management and finance committees, managing tenants, managing contractors, etc.

Finance Officer (Gary)

Our Finance Officer works full-time for the co-operative. Gary initially worked with the co-operative from 1995 to 2002. Gary returned to work with the co-operative in 2004. Gary is responsible for the financial affairs of the co-operative, ensuring that the co-operative meets its set budgets and that tenants pay their rents on time. Gary liaises with the co-operative’s contractors to ensure that all minor and major maintenance work is undertaken promptly.

Administration Officer (Shirley)

Our Administration Officer works part-time (26 hours per week) for the co-operative. Shirley has been with the co-operative since 1995. Shirley is responsible for all tenancy matters and provides administrative support to our Housing Manager. Shirley is also responsible for preparing the monthly newsletters that are distributed to the co-operative’s members.

Receptionist (Bronwyn)

Our Receptionist works part-time (24 hours per week) for the co-operative. Bronwyn has been with the co-operative since 1998. Bronwyn, obviously answers our office phones and also provides administrative support to the other staff members and assists in the preparation of the monthly newsletters that are distributed to the co-operative’s members.

Housekeepers (Loraine & Debbie)

Housekeepers work part-time (38 hours per fortnight) at Broadview House. They alternate as the Weekend Domestic Cook (7 hours per fortnight) with Kathy. Loraine & Debbie have both been with the co-operative since the beginning of 2005.

Weekend Domestic Cook (Kathy)

Kathy works as our Weekend Domestic Cook for seven hours each alternate weekend preparing and cooking the main meal for our Broadview House Residents. Kathy has been with the co-operative since 2002. Loraine & Debbie work the alternate weekend that Kathy works.
